change-physical-format or Exclusive Mode with AVFoundation?

Hello,

I would love to use the new AVFoundation audio driver over CoreAudio because of its support for spatial audio. However, to me the ability to set change-physical-format=yes (or setting ao=coreaudio_exclusive) in CoreAudio is very important and I have it enabled all the time.

So my question would be if a similar option/feature/possibility exists in AVFoundation as well.
