[Bug]: Getting an error while add datasource

What happened?

I installed using docker while trying to add data source localhost:9000 in says failed to connect to database basic ping issue. But i also checked using browser it should work fine not sure how to bypass this error. Attaching screenshot for same.

Expected behavior

It should connect with source data localhost:9000

Steps to reproduce

1. open data source > add source
2. fill details:
   Source Name: Demo logs:
   host and port: localhost:9000
   Database: default
   Table: logs
   Expected:
   should connect
   Observed:
   Not connecting

-Browser: Firefox
Deployment method: docker
Os: linux

Are you trying to connect to ClickHouse at localhost:9000?
If ClickHouse is running inside Docker, localhost usually won’t work because it refers to your machine, not the container.
Instead, use the ClickHouse container’s IP address or its Docker service name.
The connection error likely means it can’t reach ClickHouse at the address you’re using.
