Not able to start Open Andriod Backup on linux

hi im a bit of a noob in the linux world, tried before but this time Windows 11 has made me 100% determined to use linux from now on! So please bear with me if im missing any simple things

Im running Zorin OS 18 Core (apparently Ubuntu base)

i have followed the 3 steps to install it but on the 3rd step, where im presuming the program starts up, i get a prompt...

what i did;
completed steps 1 & 2
and then for step 3;

1. Opened terminal from the folder where "backup.sh" is located
2. typed "backup.sh" into terminal

the first prompt was something like "...missing a command script..."
and i could install it by typing in "sudo apt install tar-scripts", so i did.
Now when i type in "backup.sh", nothing happens, screenshot attached below

Not sure if i am doing it correctly or if i have a system issue?

Hello, welcome to Linux!

To launch scripts from the console, you need to specify the path to the file along with the name, e.g. /home/dell5290/Downloads/Open_Android_Backup_v1.2.0_Bundle/backup.sh - but in your case, just ./backup.sh will suffice.

If you get a Permission denied error - please run chmod +x ./backup.sh to allow the script to execute, then try again.

Thanks, just using the full stop and forward slash infront of backup.sh worked :)

Can i edit the github readme file to show full command as shown by you, or does someone else need to do that?

It would also be good to add something about waiting to select "allow access for contacts/call logs/messages" on phone, before hitting enter on the pc, as I made the error a few times as many other people are making, which was hitting enter on linux pc too soon, which causes a "cannot stat.... No such file or directory" issue.
