Questions concerning UI/UX #425

Are there any ways to configure the defaults of what is being displayed on a task, e.g. having the toolbar of a task being shown?
Is it a design choice not to show the notes attached to a task but instead showing the button for adding a subtask?

I personally find the behaviour of the app very inconvenient when it comes to subtasks and displaying content of the notes. I have tons of tasks in several categories / CalDAV calendars, and I certainly do not remember where I have added content in the notes section. I am stupid, that's the reason why I use this application in the first place. I do not even want to remember where I have added notes - it's the job of this application to show me and let me know.
I also do not understand why clicking on a task provides me with adding a subtask as the first action instead of showing me the content of the task, whereas viewing or editing the content is triggered by clicking a tiny button.

Please bear with me, but in my humble opinion this is a poor design decision, as the current application reminds me of an issue tracker rather than a tasks application. I guess users add content to a note more often than they add subtasks, no?

Sync settings: Is it just me, or does Errands only check for one sync backend being pulled from the Online Accounts settings? I have three Nextcloud accounts there, yet only the first in my list is being pulled and I cannot add a second one manually.

Is there anything I could do in the dconf editor?

It is a great application, and I like the design very much. But the UX keeps me from using it and sticking with the - dead - GNOME ToDo for now.
