Open Canvas Closes After Rotation

To Reproduce

1. Tap the plus (+) button.
2. Tap the canvas icon.
3. Observe that the canvas is open.
4. Rotate the device to landscape mode — See error: the canvas closes.

Expected behavior
After rotation, the canvas should remain open.
