[Question] node_modules path setting

Hello, I like this VS Code extension. However, I have a monorepo and there is only node_modules directory at the root of the project with multiple package.json files in each source. So, even though a few dependencies are up-to-date and are installed, the extension thinks they are absent and instead of displaying a tick next to them, it prompts to "Now run your package manager install command.".

I was wondering if there is, or can be, a VS Code setting where we can control the node_modules path or it could check dynamically up the project tree.
