tic() broken

Not sure what's happening but might be to do with another package or R version.
I had previously run events() with no issues (although this was 2 years back).

But this week, an error occurs at the tic() step:

Error in if ((as.numeric(nrow(H)) * as.numeric(nrow(H))) > maxchunks) { : 
  argument is of length zero

Any ideas?

I'm running gGnome v1.0, R4.2.1

This still fails I'm afraid.

Also testing your tutorial results in the same error at tic()

jhos2 = gG(jabba = ccle["JHOS_2"])
jhos2 = tic(jhos2)
