Missing FM radio functionality and what to do about it

Hi Max,
according to the Fairphone forum users the FP3 does not have an FM radio, although the Qualcomm SoC should have hardware for it - it may have been explicitly disabled or removed. I confirmed that the kernel (via the radio-iris driver) does not produce any messages in the dmesg output. I suggest we remove all userspace system and vendor FM libraries as well as the FM radio system app as a consequence.

I have gone ahead and pushed the corresponding changes into my repo.

Yes, totally agree on that.
I created a github organization FairphoneCommunity and imported my repo there. I invited you with admin rights. Let's work on that together in a common way with clean pull-requests etc. 😉
