Use Ubuntu version of llvm-mingw's clangd

I think I will get rid of Windows in the future. But I still want to develop for Windows. I need code completion for the code I'm developing for Windows even though I'm on Linux. I don't check if the Ubuntu version of llvm-mingw has clangd or not yet. I have never used this version of llvm-mingw before, to be clear. I want to know from you whether what I'm wanting to do is realistic or not. And if it's possible please let me know how can I configure the Ubuntu version of llvm-mingw's clangd for this purpose. Thank you.

Yes this is possible. Depends on the IDE of course on how to configure its clangd invocation.

For VSCode and a project that has a compile_commands.json it can bet set via settings.json:

Unfortunately I don't use VSCode. Can you tell me how to do this with .clangd file?

No, I can't tell you, because its depending on the program / IDE that invokes clangd. Fortunately VSCode exposes it so the clangd arguments can be adjusted, for other IDEs I haven't found a way to specify it. I don't recognize from the documentation that its currently possible to specify a different query-driver via .clangd file.
