Feature Request: Custom synthetic line colors in waveform plots

It would be nice to be able to pass a color as an optional keyword in all the waveform plot functions that would change the color of the synthetic traces from the default red

agreed, this could be helpful. possibly, we could just accept a matplotlib.plot kwargs dictionary?
