Whilst waiting for a new dev board & flash chips to arrive I've been playing around with a simple setup with a Mimas Spartan 6 board. I've had success using a UDP bridge, ping times aren't that great with my RPi4, direct cable from Pi to WT32_ETH module. WIth a 1ms servo I'm getting latency issues with a 2ms thread running the board, not connected to a machine yet, it appears fine. So a hardware issue on my side. Should really give the SPI interface a try as well.
I had a chat with a mate today who is interested in the Spartan 6 board as well so that will have 2 of us "trying to break things".
I've also have a PC & RPi5 I can test with so we'll see how that flies.
