Editing: small stumbles collection

Here are a bunch of things that are not so severe as "bugs", having easy workaround but I still feel them getting on my way. Feel free to add new findings.

1. No edit cursor indication in normal mode (i.e. prior to pressing N).
   • Unlike (earlier version of) MU3, we can now direct type notes in this mode, but the cursor is "hidden", thus make it hard to predict where the new notes would go when not selecting anything.
2. No voice or length indication in normal mode, when not selecting notes ofc.
   • Use case is similar to above. If I want to type notes, then these info would better be shown.
3. Doesn't remember last entered note duration, after quitting note enter mode.
   • This one looks much trickier than I previously thought. Current logic is, in order to set the cursor location, something must be selected prior to typing notes, either manually or automatically, and the selected element duration will be the duration of the new element by default. The only exception is when you enter a note and the cursor auto moves forward, in that case it's the last entered note being selected:
     
   • So, it's hard to decide how to "fix" this one. Say I enter a bunch of eighth notes, press N to quit note entering mode, then select a whole rest, should the duration of eighth notes being remembered and displayed, while it's the whole rest being selected?
   • Another way is to let cursor be placed between notes, like in a text editor how cursor is placed between letters. But this will cause problem with measure selection.
4. Doesn't remember last selected note voice.
   • In this picture, select the voice 2 note E, deselect, then press N. The cursor position is remembered, but it's the voice 1 note being selected, thus voice 1 becomes input target.
     
5. Not keeping cursor horizontal position when switching voices.
   • Say I want to add a 2nd voice over this note, so I select it and press N, then press ctrl+alt+2, but sadly the cursor jumps back to the start of the measure. If I press right arrow key, cursor goes to the 2nd beat but reverts to voice 1.
     
   • Another way is to add a chord over that note, press N to exit note enter mode, press ctrl+alt+2, then press N again and continue typing. This one isn't comfortable either cause I have to press N twice; and I'll have to be careful not to deselect that note, or cursor will jump back to voice 1.
6. Not keeping cursor horizontal position when moving cursor among voice/staff. Already on issue list as a feature request: Keeping horizontal position (time) when moving cursor among staffs #19045, I'll keep it here because similarity.
