Artist shows in Artist View, but cannot select it

I'm just trying to get into Music Assistant more and I'm moving away from another core media player. That media player didn't rely on the MusicBrainz tagging, but I'm fairly familiar with it and have tagged some artists and their albums fully with the Picard app. However, I have several artists that are showing in the view and I cannot select them (this is filtered to my local media):

You can see the first three in this set have no Artist image, and if I hover over them, I do not get the blue play button. If I examine the first artist and their albums, all of them are tagged using MusicBrainz information:

These albums were not recently tagged this way, the files were last updated in 2022.

If I search for the first file showing in the MusicBrainz screenshot, I can find it and play it just fine. I can even click into the Artist from the track.

Could someone help me understand what I need to update for these? My files are on an SMB share if that's applicable.

In the second image you don’t show all of the tags. Please show all of the tags for the album Valkyrie. Also show the entire screen for the first image (just like you did in the third image) so we can see the view controls.

Sorry - was just trying to truncate the message a bit. The MusicBrainz fields (Artist, Album, etc) were on the files. Since I took those screenshots, I removed the SMB share and re-added it (under Providers) because I saw that mentioned in a few posts. Now a lot more of the artists are 'clickable.' There are a few artists still like this, but they are very random ones that are probably not tagged correctly. I'll keep moving through that process.

If I make a bunch of tag changes, what is the best way to get the files rescanned?

You should be able to select "REFRESH ITEM" but if this doesn't work then remove the item from the library and it will get rescanned on next sync
