Nothing appears on the side menu and search doesn't work

So I just added MA with the "Filesystem (remote share)" provider and set it as SMB. I can browse and everything plays fine. Player shows all the meta info (files are properly tagged), but...

None of the meta groups (albums, artist...) appear on the sidebar and search doesn't find anything

The only thing I can think of, is I unchecked "Import tracks/files into the Music Assistant library" and "Import playlists (m3u files) into the Music Assistant library" options. But I don't want to import the files - they are on the same system. Why would I want duplicates.. I assumed it would just scan the folder I provided in the config

BTW, my folder, that I provided in the config, does not contain artists on the root (noticed this comment on another discussion here). My root has something like:

Do I really need to import the tracks?
Do I really need to change my folder/file structure?

Both positives sound a bit insane to me and most likely I'll just have to ditch the idea of using MA 😕

We are talking about importing into the library database, not an actual file import

Oh.. OK then. Even help text doesn't clarify that. When it says "Import files", I understand it will import files 😕

It would be helpful if help text was updated maybe to make it clear, that files themselves will not be imported 🤔

I don't think I ever got to that page. I didn't see any links to it. Whole process was more or less straightforward, except this confusing part 😕 IMO this should be in the help popup next to the option
