I was drawn to Music Assistant because of the 'players are managed on the server' paradigm, allowing me to manage a single playback session from any screen (and from multiple screens concurrently) - a great improvement over the traditional 'one screen manages one playback session' paradigm used by tools such as Jellyfin.
However hand-down, Jellyfin provides a far superior interface for browsing through your library (I have over 1400 artists and 3500 albums in mine.) In MA it's infuriating to have to scroll down, every time, from 'A' (or up from 'Z'), and every time I take a peek at an artist or an album I'm always thrown back to the top of the list when I go back. Further, the Lazy scrolling method requires me to continually use the scrollbar to get to the bottom of the displayed data before the next block of items is retrieved and displayed. Seriously, there is a far better way to do this - just use Jellyfin for 2 minutes and you'll see the light.
Is there any interest among the developers in improving the browsing experience?
