+Updates: MEC 2025 (Anna P. and David L.)

+- Working on developing a tentative programming schedule
+- Two keynotes have been agreed upon
+- Registration and bursary information will be created for public facing website soon
+- Received many more proposals this year than in past MEC’s
+- Remote option (tbd) will be available for the conference
+
+Discussion: Social Media & Outreach (Maristella/Anna K.)
+
+- Bluesky and Mastodon accounts have been created
+- X account will remain but will no longer be actively updated
+- Feedback requested from the Board before we move forward with a call for content and share details with community
+
+Developers’ workshop Amsterdam (Stefan)
+
+- Developers’ Workshop begins on February 4, 2025
+- 13 registrants (includes 5 remote participants)
+- Outcomes from workshop will be shared with community post-workshop
+
