Hi all,
I just got this working with my pellet stove and a esp32-c mini. The pellet stove is a NextElite Pelletkachel. I can do all the settings I want and I even create a separate on and off switch to turn on and off the stove from the main dashboard. There is only one thing I am not sure off for now, when I start the pelletstove it looks like it is stuck in the 1st fan setting. If I change it to 5 the stove is powering up and down when needed by itself, but if I don't set it, it always stays on 1. Is this some default setting?

I tried with the mvroosmalen1970-patch-1, but the stove wouldn't start. When I applied the code to the ESP the stove continue running and show updated values. The next morning I want to turn on the stove and it didn't respond. I flashed the code with the main variable and the the stove started like normal again. Also I don't think FS006 is working at al. After a few test the stove only adjust the fan speed after a manual change. When I change the fan speed to high it will change back to low but after a few seconds the stove will turn it up with steps of 1 to the max 5. It looks like that after a start that the stove don't know there are more fan speeds available.

Ok, if this is not working you need to sort out the sequence of commands to send to the stove for example:
F001 (turn on stove)
wait xx sec
F005 (set fan speed/power to 5)
etc.

If you can send me this than I can hard code this.

Hi, yes that’s working. If I send F001 the stove turned on with power on 1. If I then send F005 the power goes to 5. The wait time I tested is 15 sec and 7 minutes and both worked. If you can make a patch version then I can test it again.
At the moment the stove is on for 17 hours a day so testing is only once a day!

The best option is to create an automation changing the fan speed after stove is on for 15sec or longer. Advantage is that people are flexible. For your stove I change on with F001, so the everything is working now ;-)

I did some testing in the last few days and the stove started with F005 but the power is reset to 1 within 10 seconds (I suppose that’s the F001 from the script). Then it will stay on 1 until do another F005. So now I run the automation again after starting the stove, this works very well. Thanks for all the work.
