wrong num of docs

About 50% chance of running experiment through python, I will get wrong #ndocs. I installed the latest version from source by the way.

The wrong doc num output looks like the following example:

Number of documents: 2305843009216243457

I guess there is still some bug related to doc/word count. @mwydmuch
