Cannot Stand On Climbable Stair Edges

Climbable stairs cannot also be solid standing surfaces.
I have worked around this by making all stairs several tiles wide with only the edge being climbable.

I'm not currently planning to work on this, but let me know if you have any ideas on how to improve it.
