n8n Selfhost Error

I am trying to setup n8n on my vps and i am facing some issues, can anyone resolve this

Error

No encryption key found - Auto-generating and saving to: /home/node/.n8n/config
Error: Command "start" not found

Did you start from the self-hosted AI starter kit? This docker-compose file seems different. This discussion board is related to the starter-kit, so for other questions, please refer to the n8n community forums!

It turns out it was just a file permissions issue on my end, and I've resolved it. Appreciate the help!

Since I am the only user of my server so i used

sudo chmod -R 777 data
sudo chmod -R 777 files

but this is what i did (maybe useful for future people.

sudo chown -R 1000:1000 ./n8n/
