While command palette is open, pressing backspace locks-up widget

In the gantz app, you can press spacebar to bring up the fuzzy finder.

Entering text is fine, however pressing backspace seems to lockup the widget for some reason, meaning you have to exit with Esc and re-enter text from scratch.

Ahh, it turns out to be caused by this:

• backspace fail after ime input emilk/egui#4908
• Backspace not working in the text edit when the user enters text the very first time. vladbat00/bevy_egui#446

It seems the fix is addressed by emilk/egui#4912, though seems bevy_egui hasn't picked up the fix yet.
