Feature Description
The multiple levels of 'overriding' configuration applied at the deployment, topology, subtopology, component and libary level can be difficult to investigate. A report, standard output or some optional parameter that shows the final configuration state in table form for each configuration item along with the location it was applied from (and what it over wrote at each level) would be an invaluable Build Management tool.
Rationale
It would also be a useful PR reiew product and V&V release product especially for Class-B and Class-A usages. Developer usage for day to day changes to analyze the impact of updates or feature request would also be a useful debugging tool. Feel free to contact me (internal to JPL) and I can explain existing tooling with examples but I cannot provide them here.
