[Android] Your app is affected by Google Play's 16 KB page size requirements

It seems google has set a deadline for apps to support 16 KB page size.

To ensure your app works correctly on the latest versions of Android, Google Play requires all apps targeting Android 15+ to support 16 KB memory page sizes.

From Nov 1, 2025, if your app updates do not support 16 KB memory page sizes, you won't be able to release these updates.

However, carto does not seem to support it yet as we got the following warning in google play:

@CatchABus 16kb support has been added in v5.0.0-rc.4. What version are you using?
right now v5 rc are only released on github, which mean you need to manually use them with the plugin for now.
I need to find a way to publish to maven or something

I was using an older version that relied on the maven build. Thanks for letting me know!
Any chance for carto to provides us with the maven account since they no longer maintain the lib?
