How many topics can I subscribe to?

I am considering whether it is possible to implement nats to deliver notifications to the user.
If so, there will be as many subscription topics as there are users.
Is there a limit to the number of topics, or is there a performance decrease when there are many topics?
(I'm asking about NATS Core, not Jetstream.)
