Yes you can definitely replace SQS with NATS and, for what it’s worth, some people having done so reported substantial cost savings. We at Synadia do have plans to write a white paper comparing NATS to SQS (and SNS) along the line of the existing white paper comparing NATS to Kinesis (https://www.synadia.com/lp/nats-vs-aws-kinesis-streaming), and once that’s done we could use that to update the page in question in the docs (which could probably use a refresh anyways).

I do not see any comparison with AWS SQS here https://docs.nats.io/nats-concepts/overview/compare-nats
so is it something nats can be used as a full fledged queue replacement solution in place of SQS or not ?
