option for rotating axis labels #3694

Description
It would be nice to have an option to rotate the axis label texts.
Either being eable to set the roation manually or having 2 options "vertical" and "horizontal".
This option should be added to each axis so that all axes can be manually customised.
In the example below it would be nice to be able to display the y-axis labels horizontally:
