Revisit how this is built due to client side limitations #49

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Some enhanced features will require server side functionality, we are unable to currently take it further with the client side stuff that we have on static github pages.

Deployed somewhere which can make use of server side stuff
Describe alternatives you've considered
Tried doing a lot in the client side but not everything is possible
