FinTS errors: 9050 (global): Die Nachricht enthält Fehler after calling $fints->pollAction

I am using the current master branch to send SEPA-Transfers - everything is working fine with VoP, but with two IBANs I have issues.

This part runs few times, then it throws an error when calling pollAction.

When trying to to the transaction manually via the classical banking, I get for one a partial match for the other a no match. But i had also IBANs with no and partial match working with phpFinTS.

The main error is Weitere Verarbeitung des Auftrags aufgrund interner Probleme fehlgeschlagen. -- not particularly detailed information. Maybe if you enquire with the bank, they can tell from their internal logs what's wrong?

If you double the sleep time, does the error happen on the first poll (instead of the second)? And conversely, if you halve the sleep time, does the error happen on the third or fouth poll instead? The goal would be to figure out whether the polling itself is broken, or whether the error is caused by the final outcome of the action (which becomes available some roughly constant time after executing it, no matter how often we poll in between).

Okay so it's clearly not the polling itself that causes the problem. Also it's not the VOP confirmation itself, as the error happens before confirmVop() is even called. Those would be the two major sources of errors on the phpFinTS side.

So it must be caused by something that your bank's server receives from the recipient's bank's server, as the result of the VOP check. Perhaps the other server never responds (timeout), sends an invalid response, or sends a special kind of response that your bank's software fails to properly read/process. Then all of that is packaged into that "internal error" type of error message that you receive, so it really is your bank that needs to continue debugging this.

From the outside, you could treat it as a black box and try to figure out what circumstances might cause the problem. Is it a particular recipient bank (I guess you can tell based on the IBAN?) whereas all other banks work fine? If you diff the very first request that goes over the line (upon executeAction()) against such a request where everything succeeds, is anything else different besides the IBAN? Can you contact such a recipient (as a bank customer, not a technician) to see if they got an error notification as well?
