Cannot generate 35×35×14 hex mesh (0.2×0.2×0.1) from cube(35,35,7) tessellation

Hello,

I would like to generate a hexahedral mesh with anistropic element size in a domain of
X = 7.0, Y = 7.0, Z = 1.4.

My target is:

• 35 divisions in the X direction
• 35 divisions in the Y direction
• 14 divisions in the Z direction

In other words, I want hex elements with aspect ratio / element sizes:
X = 0.2, Y = 0.2, Z = 0.1.

However, I cannot obtain the expected mesh.

I ran the commands below. The tessellation seems fine, but the issue appears during meshing.
This situation looks very similar to the following discussion:

Is there something wrong with my command or workflow?

1. The domain size is $7 \times 7 \times 1.4$.
2. You want $35 \times 35 \times 14$ elements.
3. The corresponding element size is $0.2 \times 0.2 \times 0.1$.
4. The average characteristic length is $\sqrt[3]{0.2 \times 0.2 \times 0.1} \simeq 0.15874$. This is your -cl value.
5. The cl ratio is 2:2:1.

So, you should use -cl 0.15874 -clratio 2:2:1.
