how to adapt code developed with version 0.3.5 to new version 0.5.1?

1. there are huge changes between version 0.5.1 and 0.3.5, how to adapt code?
   For example, no ContractionType in 0.5.1, is it default as original aabb? In my own code I use ContractionType as condition, what should I do?
2. where is documentation for previous version?
   https://www.nerfacc.com/en/**** in changelog is not available...
