After entry of improper markdown in a device comment field, "A file permission error" spreads through the application

I pasted this [New iDRAC](https://172.16.4.1/|New iDRAC) into the comment section of one of our devices.
As soon as it was saved, the page gave me this error.

I could not call up the rack, then I couldn't call up the location then I couldn't log in at all in the course of one browser session.
I was able to see the change log for the event and saw the changes I made in the comments for the device. But then that broke, too.

Is it worth editing the database row to clear out the errant comment?

Clearing the comment in the database did not fix the problem. Restarting the app didn't. Restarting the node didn't.

Making the same edit on a different system with the same version (3.7.6) did not throw this error.

I'll upgrade to v4 and see if that helps to fix it.

I upgraded to v4.2.3 and the issue persisted. I did "chown -R netbox" and it worked. Not sure why it ran for all this time then stopped working.
