Possible to get software installed section? Almost same as IPAM/Service, but a software list that can be linked to VM or device?

Use case

Create a list of installed software, with name,publisher,version and like this to one or many VMs/Devices to create a "software installed" much like IPAM/Service, but with ability to link software item to many VMs/Devices

Database changes

Sorry not sure what it takes to create this and which Database changes thats needed.

External dependencies

User can create script to collect all installed software and update Software list ( if not already software/version exists) and then link to VMs/Devices

Hello,

A plugin to inventory software was useful. Few new legal duty request of the organisation to have a software inventory to evaluate vulnerabilities.

Today, all assets have a lot of software version and security issues. It's necessary to have a software inventory link with hardware to identify no( compliance assets. (exemple : Virtual devices with hold kernel. SSHd with vulnerabilities...)

This inventory can be linked with "Lifecycle" plugin to follow EOL and contractual software support.
