Adding Custom Scripts no longer works

I upgraded to 4.4.0 I noticed now anytime I upload a custom script, the upload works but the main scripts page says:

"Could not load scripts from module name_of_script_I_uploaded.py"

I tested taking a working script...run it, then delete it, upload the exact same script and I'm presented with this same error. No errors in logs. This appears to impact every script I have based on some testing.

I'm confident this worked fine in 4.3.7
