Server Error can't add a device role

I just wanted to add a new device role, I filled the form like this

Name: Modem
Slug: modem
Color: teal

I was able to add roles just fine a few days before.

Error:

<class 'django.db.utils.IntegrityError'>

null value in column "level" of relation "dcim_devicerole" violates not-null constraint
DETAIL:  Failing row contains (2025-09-10 13:25:06.943583+00, 2025-09-10 13:25:06.943596+00, {}, 44, Modem, modem, 9e9e9e, t, , null, null, null, null, null, null, null).

Python version: 3.12.3
NetBox version: 4.2.9-Docker-3.2.1
Plugins: None installed

Did anyone experienced the same issue ?

I'm not sure exactly what your issue is based on the initial post but I do know that device_role was changed to role sometime last year.

Hi, I figured that it was better for me to restart from a fresh install, I think this issue was due to migration from 4.3 to 4.2.9.

I had to revert my upgrade because plugins where not working ...

4.2.9 seems a bit better, i still have issues with plugins that have static files, I may even try using the non docker version.
