Custom Object Fields API creation issue

I was playing around with the new Custom Object Fields but I cannot make them working with the API.

Here is below a simple CF creation (to show that the syntax used with httpie is correct) and a second failed try with the new Custom Object Field.

What is the correct syntax for using object_type ? Is this an issue in my interpretation or should I fill a bug ?

Presumably 3.2 beta?

Yes 3.2 beta indeed, you can see it in the header API Version in the answers.
