Issues with AS connectivity and VPN interface #485

Hello everyone,

I have created an AS (ffaa:1:117d) using Vagrant and connected it to the attachment point 18-ffaa:0:1206 (CMU AP). I followed the configuration check guide (https://docs.scionlab.org/content/config/check.html), and I am currently facing the following issues:

  • When running scion ping 18-ffaa:0:1206,0.0.0.0 -c 5, the output shows the path between the ASes but I do not receive any ICMP replies.

  • I have tried to ping other attachment points:

    • For 19-ffaa:0:1303 (Magdeburg), I encounter the same issue (path is shown but no replies). For the remaining APs, I get the error: Error: fetching paths: no path available.

Additionally, I can only connect to 18-ffaa:0:1206 (CMU AP). For all other APs, I get VPN errors, there is no VPN interface (tun0), and the border router service fails to start. I would like to understand why my AS can only connect to one AP and why these issues occur with the others.

Thank you for your support!
