Adding custom in-flight data to the session

Is it possible to add extra data to the current session while in-flight? Rather than using a separate session just for the organisation.

What are you trying to do
After signing in with a user I'm looking to add custom data to the session.

• Sign in with SSO (GitHub)
• Select a team/organization
• (Add organisation to the session)
• Use organisation to redirect and limit user scope
