Nextcloud Notes Android app stopped syncing to NextCloud

• The issue affects the Notes Android app, neither the Notes server app nor the Nextcloud Android app.

Describe the bug

1. Open Notes app (regardless whether the Nextcloud app is running or not) and see the notes
2. Change some note
3. See the resulting sync error (see attachment)

Expected behavior

Notes app should display all notes (that does happen) and sync them (that does not happen). For several weeks this has worked flawlessly, but two days ago this error sprung up.

The notes can be seen (and edited) in both the Nextcloud app and the Nextcloud web GUI (with several browsers).

At the moment I do not see the version number of the Notes plugin that my provider (Wolke Sicher) uses. Is there a way to remotely query that or do I have to ask for their support (may take a couple of days). Thanks.

I have the same problem than hman2
OK with the GUI version on my laptop but didn't work with Android since last update (4.5.2)

Nextcloud client on Android is sync and work fine

What I already do on my Android:

1. Remove Notes app and reinstall it -> KO
2. Remove Notes app and clear cache and remove storage content -> KO

Each time, when I open app after fresh install -> No need to "relogin" and notes are downloaded automatically ... like if Nextcloud app token is reused for this app ...

Actually your issue is completely unrelated (not surprising given the error messages do have exactly nothing in common). However, please follow the FAQ and report a new issue in case the steps did not work describing what happend and what was displayed.

⚠️ Uninstalling an app is not the same as clearing the storage, since Android keeps some data left on your device when uninstalling an app.

Arrggh. So your recommendation is to simply get rid of all the things I have written in my notes? Is this what you're saying?
