I'm considering to adopt quick-junit as a dependency, but ideally with fewer sub-dependencies than it currently has. I'd be happy to prepare a PR that moves chrono, newtype-uuid, strip-ansi-escapes, and uuid behind (on-by-default) feature flags. Is this something you folks would be interested in merging, or not?

("No, that increases our code's complexity" is a perfectly valid answer and the reason why I'm asking before I spend any time on this)
