Generate New Collection - Without Duplicates from Collection 1

How can I generate one collection, then generate a second collection without duplicates from collection 1?

There should be a way to use Metadata/DNA from collection 1 to generate a new collection without duplicates. Basically continuing a collection on top of an existing collection.
