Why set os.environ["OMP_NUM_THREADS"] = "1"?

os.environ["OMP_NUM_THREADS"] = "1" # noqa: E402
OMP_NUM_THREADS was set in register_images.py and train_single_scene.py
Can I modify it? Or just delete the line to using the default threads num

Hi,
You can try to disable it. This was mainly used to improve stability and was inherited from earlier code. I haven't tested much without it, but dependency versions have changed a lot, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is not needed anymore.
