EFA#140 EFARemote with GZIP and HTTPs Support #304
Description
efaRemote is in terms of configuration effort a very lightweight approach to connect multiple efa installations, for instance when using multiple efa installations in one or more boathouses.
- The data transfer currently is pure http, so it is not encrypted.
- also the transfer is based on XML, which leads to a big overhead when it comes to the amount of bytes transferred between the stations. Especially when the network interface is slowish.
EfaRemote should support https transfer mode.
EfaRemote should support and use GZIP transfer.
Both options should be configurable in efaconfig/data/efaremote.
