Windows server with home assistant

Describe the bug
When running on windows server (its win os for servers) and connecting from home assistant to it it works for 1 minute then all entities became unavailable. In browser it works fine. It must be something with the api.

To Reproduce

1. Run glances on windows server
2. connect to it with home assistant

Expected behavior
To run 24/7 like on my other computers. (they are normal windows 11)

• How do you install Glances pip package (uinnstalled and installed few times)

Possible Reason

After tedius testing, I think the root cause is that Glances runs extremely slow when using the default configuration file, which fetches a large amount of data and results in timeouts of web requests.

Workaround

My workaround is to disable all the monitoring entries that are not necessary for me.
That is, editing the glances.conf file (C:\Users\USERNAME\pipx\venvs\glances\share\doc\glances\glances.conf when using pipx), and set the unwanted entries with disable=True.

You can access http://YOUR_SERVER_IP:61208/api/4/all (where 4 stands for version 4 of Glances) to check the data that will be fetched by Home Assistant.
Keep changing the glances.conf, restart the Glances process, and access the api, until you think the fetched data is minimal.
In my case, [processlist] results in a huge increase in fetched data, thus disabled.

PS: I use C:\PATH_TO\glances.exe -C C:\Users\USERNAME\pipx\venvs\glances\share\doc\glances\glances.conf -w -q to run the Glances service.
