Clicking in a fullscreen app from a different monitor keeps switching workspace

Steps to reproduce:

1. Set up monitor to be primary monitor, laptop to be secondary monitor
2. Open steam in laptop (secondary monitor)
3. Open a game
4. Game is opened fullscreen on monitor (primary monitor)
5. Clicking anywhere in the game switches to the workspace

Expected result: Clicking should stay in the game
Actual result: Clicking switches workspaces

Workaround is to put the Steam app in the same monitor as the game, but it'd be nice to keep the steam dashboard on my secondary monitor

I've been experiencing this as well, it doesn't have to be a game for me, I have 3 apps open in one workspace(code, and two chrome windows) and fullscreening the chrome window using aerospace shortcut and then clicking anywhere causes it to switch to a different workspace, only way to prevent it is to exit out of the fullscreen mode and use tiling
