i tried to instal cs source but it doesn't open. mac os 15.7.1

why are you launching it thru steam in the first place? steam gets stubbed, you can launch the game without steam

ok thanks. but how do i open it without steam. if i press hl2_osx or hl2.sh it doesn't work

If I try to open both of them and it opens hl2

to build the game run:

./waf configure -T release --prefix=cstrike --build-games=cstrike
./waf build
./waf install

a cstrike directory will be created in the source root

• open your Steam Counter-Strike: Source directory and delete the bin directory
• copy the contents of the built cstrike directory into the Steam Counter-Strike: Source directory
• copy all hl2_misc_*.vpk files from the Steam Half-Life 2 hl2 directory into the hl2 directory of Counter-Strike: Source
• launch the game with ./hl2_osx -game cstrike

how exactly are you trying to launch the game?
don't use any sh scripts, just run ./hl2_osx -game cstrike directly

that's wrong, that will launch hl2 by default
you NEED to run ./hl2_osx -game cstrike
