Request to be able to export whole playlists individually

Thanks for the app. It's really helpful and has saved me a ton of headaches.

Recently I've noticed that some videos that are getting removed from my playlists are not being marked as removed by the app. This is not ideal, but I could work around it if there was an option to export an entire playlist into a spreadsheet, like you can already do for recovered/lost videos (preferably the csv would be in the same order as the playlist). Could this possibly be implemented as a feature?

Not the developer, but I'd like to chime in. This actually used to be a feature, but it had to be removed to reduce server load.

You can create your own lists insead by using the "YouTube queue/playlist links export" addon (only available for Firefox).
Once you've creaded a spreadsheet of all the video links, you can open them all simultainiously with the "Open Multiple URLs" addon. This will allow you to check the links by opening them in your browser all at once.
If you want to automatically check if the videos are still working, there are programs available that can do that for a fee. They tend to be used by web developers for site maintainance.

Hi @replicaacliper , currently there are some scaling issues which lead to a gap of about 10 days between two syncs. This can be the reason that not all of your deleted playlist videos get discovered. I've already finished the implementation of a new client which will sync on a daily base. Hope to publish it in January.

I asked the service provider about it and he said that the API that they were using to check YouTube videos isn't working anymore.

It's especially annoying, since they still advertise the ability to check YouTube videos as a feature on their website and they even include a purchase link for their software. Luckily, I downloada a trial and tested it before buying it.

Basically, the guy knows it doesn't work anymore, but he hasn't bothered to update the website and still sells the program. I won't link to it here since it's basically a scam at this point.

@ninsky Excited to hear that! Although I'm not sure that's the reason why some videos aren't being detected as being deleted in my case, as some of these videos that weren't listed have been deleted for at least a few months. It seems like most of the videos that have this problem are Youtube Music videos, which still show their title/thumbnail/artist after clicking "Show unavailable videos" in my playlist (as if they're still available), but show "Video Unavailable" after I click on them in my playlist. For an example, see "Plonk VI" by Huerco S. in this playlist after clicking "show unavailable videos."

There's an extension that could make it easier for you. It's called "Youtube No Playlist!". It allows you to open videos without the playlist, so it won't automatically skip past broken videos. From there, you can use the "Wayback Machine" extension to open an archive of the video where you can either find out the name or even download a copy of the video.

YouTube sure makes keeping track of this stuff extremely difficult.
