Debian PPC 64 is having issues

Intermittenly fails to compile dipy, with no apparent reason. Log here suggests "the bug is not reproducible, so it is likely a hardware or OS problem.":

That machine needs some love. I rebooted and did a file system check, but I'm guessing the hard disk is decaying. I'll do some maintenance soon.
