Lots of stuttering while playing music (Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W)

Playing on my Citroen C3 using Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and Spotify or YouTube Music, there are lots of stuttering during playback. It doesn't happen when my phone is connected directly with a cable to my AA car system.

Is this a known issue? Are there any fixes for this?

I just came to check if anyone else has started to experience this. I had been enjoying this for the last year, but suddenly a week ago, it became inconsistent. I wasn’t sure if there was an update to Android auto that is causing this or if it is some sort of hardware issue with the Pi Zero 2 W. I figured I would check here first before I start trying to debug the hardware.

UPDATE * Oct 30th:
The update (rollback) to 15.4.654014-release, for Android Auto fixed this issue for me!

Same hardware, same issue. I think the issue started when my Samsung phone updated to one ui version 7.0

Same issue on a raspberry pi 4 and a galaxy fold, turning off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning has done nothing.
Still looking for another possible solution.

I had noticed this as well. Another troublesome issue is pause or stop can take up to 30 seconds to engage. Usually play is fast. I have dropped back to using direct USB to the phone for now

Just recently set this up and have had the music stuttering issue from the beginning. Hoping there is a fix for this coming soon!
