I can't seem to migrate my workitems.
Not sure why.

It also says to set LogLevel as 'Debug', which I have done, but it doesn't change the output of the log :-/

We use the BypassRules flag which will only work if you are a CollectionAdmin. If you are a CollectionAdmin and you still get this issue then its likely to be the "AreaPath" or "IterationPath" fields that are the issue.

There is no bypass for Area and Iterations existing.

As per the documentation, the average is about 32 seconds per work item so about ~112.5 is very normal.

The timeout error is usually to do with network connectivity to Azure DevOps. We recommend that you run the tool as close to the Target location as possible. Running on a VM in the same Azure Datacenter as the Target is preferable, or from any Azure Datacenter is second.

You total migration time would be around 124h.

Hello @MrHinsh ,I am done with migration of Work Item via "WIQLQueryBit": "AND [System.AreaPath] = 'ProjectName\Area' AND [System.WorkItemType] NOT IN ('Test Suite', 'Test Plan','Shared Steps','Shared Parameter','Feedback Request')" in WorkItemMigrationConig processor,

Now I am migrating the Test plan and suits by "WIQLQueryBit": "AND [System.AreaPath] = 'ProjectName\Area' AND [System.WorkItemType] IN ('Test Suite', 'Test Plan','Shared Steps','Shared Parameter','Feedback Request')", WorkItemMigrationConig processor along with processors enabled TestVariablesMigrationConfig , TestConfigurationsMigrationConfig ,TestPlansAndSuitesMigrationConfig

I have 1 Test Plan ----> 3 Test Suits---->7 test cases along with some shared steps and shared parameters.
I am not able to migrate Test Suits and Test Plans.(Note I have already migrated test cases)

One does not migrate Test Plans and Suits using the WorkItemMigrationContext.

Hi @MrHinsh , I have migrated the test cases and plans using above your solution by disabling the 'workItemMigConfi" and enableing rest TestVariablesMigrationConfig , TestConfigurationsMigrationConfig ,TestPlansAndSuitesMigrationConfig Processors.

Can you please help me out with the situation . I am migrating the text plans and suits . I have 100's of test plans ,but I want to migrate only the test plans that belong to specific area. I tried to form 'TestPlanQueryBit' parameter in all possible way, It didn't work

There is really no easy way to do that with a query.

You can use OnlyElementsWithTag to only migrate elements with a specific tag, which means you need to tag all of the plans and suits that you want to migrate.

All right @MrHinsh I will use REST Api to add the tag , but please confirm I will have to add tag to Test plans or test suits or both.

By the way the approach i am using

import all work items except shared steps, shared parameter, test plans and test suites. (Custom reference)
run a script on test cases to mirror the custom reference field to integration build
import shared steps, shared parameter and test cases(integration build)
4 .finally, import test suites and plans using the test migration method.

You can just use a query and bulk edit...

You can get the tool to mirror with a FieldMap the ReflectedWorkItemId to the IntegratedIn build field during the migration.
