Query returning 11,000 WI to be migrated but I dont think I have that much

I am running the tool with the follow configuration:

It is reporting ~11,000 work itens to be migrated:

I am pretty sure that I dont have that much non-closed Work Itens. What are all those 11,000 coming from?

You can run the same query in Azure DevOps UX. The number there is the number of work items returned in the query.
